Join 440 Gallery for an innovative program from Po’Jazz, a program featuring an eclectic mix of poetry and jazz. Founded by Brooklyn-born Golda Solomon, Po’Jazz combines two passions into an energetic blend of spoken word and improvised instrumentation.
Robert Gibbons, Rosi Hertlein and Golda Solomon will be featured at this afternoon performance of voice, violin and poetry. Poet Robert Gibbons moved to NYC in search of his muse, Langston Hughes. Rosi Hertlein is a musician, poet and fine artist. Golda Solomon is a poet, performer, educator and producer. Their creative forces will improvise around artist Susan Greenstein’s current exhibit, Painted Travels.

440 Gallery is located at 440 Sixth Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, between 9th and 10th Streets, and is convenient to the F, G, and R subways. The gallery is open on Thursday and Friday, 4pm – 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 7pm, or by appointment.
