Poet/storyteller Darryl Alladice has been curating the One Breath Rising series at 440 Gallery for the past few months and finally! he will be the featured artist for this late-day performance. As one of the major influencers with the collective One Breath Rising, he and his colleagues produce unique spoken-word and music in intimate settings around NYC. Alladice grew up in Harlem and Brooklyn. His work has been performed at many venues, including the Schomburg Research Center, Queens Public Library, City College of New York, Dwyer Cultural Center, Bowery Poetry Club and Emerson College. Join us at 440 Gallery for a powerful, thought-provoking afternoon of performance and artistry through words.
