Through artist Pablo Fernández Márquez’s kaleidoscopic vision, reality is shifted, repeated, and joined to create a continuous movement of space and time.
As the power of nature is exposed through the transformations of Fernández Márquez’s imagery, new and mysterious meanings emerge within both the everyday and the endless universe. Leaving the meanings of his works up to the viewer’s own personal interpretation, the artist discovers dazzling possibilities in the ordinary, revealing a hidden level of sensuality, spirituality, and emotional intensity. These large scale digital photograph diptychs are printed in a limited edition of nine pieces on either Hannemule Photo Rag Pearl Paper or Diasec.
Having discovered a passion for nature at an early age while living on the upper peninsula of Michigan on the Great Lakes, Pablo Fernández Márquez soon determined to make art the focus of his life, holding his first solo exhibition at age eighteen. He studied art at The University of the Americas in Puebla in México. He now works in digital photography, installation and video art and divides his time between New York and Mexico City, where he was born to a creative family.
