Marianne Fernandez : “I Paint Therefore I Am”

The acrylic on canvas paintings of American artist Marianne Fernandez are bold, powerful, and utterly fascinating.

Combining a strong use of line and form with brilliant colors and heavy brushstrokes, Fernandez explores a wide range of styles, from figurative to abstract. Each canvas is filled with diverse components that lend several layers of meaning to the work.
