Young Artists Workshop: Explore “La Luna” The Moon Sunday, February 26, 2017 4:40pm
Look up in the sky at night and there’s the moon. Dogs howl at it, movies are made about it, songs are written about it. The “Man in the Moon” lives there every night—is it any wonder that it is so mysterious? At our workshop, you will start out using thick cardboard circles and work alongside our resident teaching artists Vicki Behm and Susan Greenstein to make collages of dreamy moons and other shapes using your imagination. We’ll be inspired by La Luna, Jo-Ann Acey’s show of pastel drawings of the moon. Remember, when the moon hits your eyes like a big pizza pie, it’s amore!
Children ages 5-12 are welcome to participate.
