Have you ever kept a secret from a friend? Long before there were cellphones and computers, people would send secret letters to each other using handmade paper packages that would be folded up like origami. Artists Susan and Vicki love making these “secret letters” and will show you how to make your own. You will get lots of design inspiration from our New Members Show. Keep it secret: a special stash of chocolate candy? Who’s your BFF? A new Mine Craft tool?
440 Gallery is located at 440 Sixth Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, between 9th and 10th Streets, and is convenient to the F, G, and R subways. The gallery is open on Thursday and Friday, 4-7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 7pm.
