On the first weekend of October artists and makers across the borough of Lambeth will be opening their studios and work spaces to the public.
There are a variety of locations to visit including artists’ homes, work studios, pop-up spaces and our hub venue the Portico Gallery in West Norwood. There will also be a broad range of work on show including Brockwell Park prints by Kate Bose, intricate felt work by Kim Winter, the moody portrait work of Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf and colourful paintings of Brixton life by John Bateson. This event is a great opportunity for visitors to meet artists and makers face to face and get a real insight into the methods and thinking of South London’s creative community.
