Stylization and color are distinctive features throughout the oeuvre with a powerful emphasis on the female form and its adornment. As an image-maker Tinatin luxuriates in the velvety folds of fabric, ornate patterning and texture – imagery which references classical Baroque painting as well as contemporary couture. A Maximalist by design, the artist states that through her work she aims to push her viewer toward a state of “maximum aesthetic pleasure.”

Tinatin was born in Tbilisi, Georgia into a family of artists. She received her Master in Fine Arts and Fashion Design in 1995 and currently resides in New Jersey. Her work has been featured in numerous private collections and exhibitions.

If you are looking for an exhibition that celebrates the diversity and visual delights of the world, and reflects the spring feeling of growth and life, come to Agora Gallery this spring. In Landscapes of the Mind, artists bring all of their interests and ideas together to create works that illuminate both aspects of the world itself and the ways in which we interact with them. Thoughtful, lovely, and touching on a number of levels, this is an example of the way art can transform simple materials into conduits of spiritual depth and poignant meaning. East Meets West: An Exhibition of Fine Arts from Asia presents the work of talented Asian artists who delve into their personal history and cultural heritage to create art of astonishing power and appeal. Perfectly balanced, intellectually rigorous and emotionally evocative, this show will stir the imagination and touch the soul. In addition, a breath of air and a sense of barely contained energy emanates from the works of Dick Perez: a solo exhibition of baseball’s finest. The artist has portrayed the stars of the baseball world as official artist to prestigious institutions such as the Philadelphia Phillies and the Baseball Hall of Fame, and the passion he has for both the game and for art are clearly demonstrated in his thrilling works. The exhibitions open on March 26, 2013 and run until April 16, 2013. The opening reception will take place on the evening of Thursday, April 4, 2013. Entrance is free and art lovers are warmly encouraged to attend to meet some of the artists who created these delightful works of art.
