Eat, Drink & Save the Arts Campaign for the Arts Event

“Eat, Drink & Save the Arts” seems to be the theme for Hues Entertainment and DigitMan Music’s upcoming event. This Charity Cocktail Party, hosted by Seven “Digit” Hughes, will be held in Atlanta at the eclectic and Southwestern themed, Agave Restaurant (242 Boulevard SE, Atl, GA 30312) from 5-8pm on Thursday, July 29, 2010.

The night will be filled with artists from all genres of “the arts”. In addition to the fantastic cocktails that will be served, there will also be a complimentary buffet sponsored by Agave. “I feel that this night will unite artists from all sides and will help raise money to assist in our 10,000.00 commitment that we’ve made to The Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts in New York”, says Seven “Digit” Hughes.

“Digit, founder of the Campaign for the Arts has committed himself to preserving the Arts and helping organizations and schools across the country save their Arts programs. Being also a board of director member of the Lisa Lopes Foundation, “Digit”is no novice to raising money and being about the community. He has been responsible for Branding the Foundation visually and through national media efforts. “The Arts and community unity has always been a passion of mine. As a youth, I’ was a member of the Urban League and in the military I was the Vice President of the B.O.S.S. organization. The YMCA has also awarded me with countless Letters of Appreciation. But, now with the Lisa Lopes Foundation and the Campaign for the Arts, I feel that I have definitely found my calling in the community”, Says Seven.
