Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) and the City of West Hollywood are proud to announce the third annual Out There exhibition, celebrating the LGBT experience during West Hollywood’s Pride Month festivities. This effort commemorates West Hollywood’s lasting commitment to raising public awareness and appreciation of the talents and abilities of all artists.
About the Artist
Richard S. Chow is a fine art photographer whose style blends image content and precision – to strive for a different or new perspective capturing the apparent and the not so apparent, to offer the viewer the opportunity to imagine and journey beyond the image. He has crafted a style that highlights strong and compelling composition.
Richard is represented by the Los Angeles Art Assocition/Gallery 825, and the Art Rental & Sales Gallery at LACMA (L.A. County Museum of Arts).
He was also honored by Nikon who selected his image, Twilight, for the internationally distributed 2007 Nikon NPCI calendar. The calendar was comprised of 13 photographs selected from the annual Contest which received 31,000 entries from 117 countries.
Richard currently focuses on fine art limited edition pieces and gallery exhibition. Future projects include monogram/books and other fine art and editorial series.
