Leslie Hindman and seven appraisers from Chicago-based Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, the leading fine art auction house in the Midwest, will provide verbal appraisals of antiques and collectibles, including fine art, furniture, decorative arts, jewelry, time pieces and books and manuscripts at the 2008 Realtors Home & Garden Show in Milwaukee, Wis. on Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Just 800 $10 appraisal tickets will be sold. One item will be appraised per ticket and individuals may purchase a maximum of two tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at 9:30 a.m. on March 29 at the Realtors Home & Garden Show. Admission to the Home & Garden Show requires a separate ticket.
In addition, the Realtors Home & Garden Show will also include a public appearance by Ralph and Terry Kovel. On Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m., two of the world’s leading experts on antiques and collectibles will make a rare public appearance at Milwaukee’s Home & Garden Show. Ralph and Terry Kovel will conduct a one-hour presentation that includes Q&A. Following their talk, the duo will autograph copies of their books, which will be for sale on-site at the show. The Kovels will not conduct appraisals.
The Realtors Home & Garden Show will be held March 28 – April 6 at State Fair Park, Wisconsin Exposition Center, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, Wis. Regular admission to the show is $8 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
