All items from the sale will be on display and available for in-person preview on October 21st from 12:00-4:00pm, October 22nd from 12:00-6:30pm, October 23rd from 12:00-5:00pm and October 24th from 9:00-10:00am or online anytime at Nadeau’s website, located at www.nadeausauction.com. • Lot #300, an oil on canvas still life with a bowl of fruit from Mary Jane Peal (American, 1827-1902), is estimated at $15,000-$25,000. Today, Peal’s work is displayed at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. This award-winning still life was exhibited at Schwarz, Philadelphia; Victor Spark, New York; and William J. Poplack, Birmingham, Michigan and was sold at Christies, New York on 11/29/2007 for $39,400.
