Fraser Leonard Fine Art Gallery – representing “Art for Your Spirit and Your Life” – announces that The Gallery will be hosting a new exhibition focused on the human form entitled “Figuratively Speaking”.
This new exhibition of art from Fraser’s extensive collection of works will be on display beginning Friday, October 13th at his Gallery, located at 824 S. Main Street, in Historic St. Charles, Missouri.
“Figuratively Speaking” will showcase award-winning contemporary artist Fraser Leonard and his collection of works based upon the complexities and mysteries of the human form – creatively executed in his unique, contemporary drawings, paintings, and sculptures.
According to the artist, “How did God make man? I take canvas and apply paints and human forms evolve out of my art; is it intuitive? Or are the forms a premonition of something exciting about to happen on canvas created by the unconscious mind?”
Fraser continues, “In any case, I started drawing when I was four years old; over 70 years of experimental learning, using what God gave me; I paint and human forms show up in my paintings!”
Fraser Leonard’s artistic point of view is uplifting and fun, and his works of art are truly Art for Your Spirit and Your Life. While many of his artistic creations will be on display within his Gallery space during the “Figuratively Speaking” Exhibition, most of his work can also be viewed at his website, www.fraserleonard.com.
An opening reception for the “Figuratively Speaking” Exhibition will be held on Sunday, October 15th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served during the reception.
The Fraser Leonard Fine Art Gallery hours of operation are Thursday and Friday, 11am-5pm, as well as Saturday and Sunday 11am-5 pm. The Gallery is located at 824 S. Main Street, in Historic St. Charles, Missouri.
