By utilizing his acute observational skills, Roncaccia harnesses the academic amplification of shadow and light to effortlessly transform paint into something seemingly more tangible. By marrying his dexterous technique with a connoisseurship of allegory, he presents the fantastical that exists in the everyday if one looks hard enough.

Inspired by Caravaggio, and demonstrating a versatility resulting from his training in both classical and decorative painting techniques, Mario Roncaccia practices transcendence through skill and style.

Representing a variety of media and styles, the artworks on display cover a broad range of subjects and techniques. However, the passion and drive of these talented artists is visible throughout, making the viewing experience invigorating and expansive.
