RICHMOND, Virginia, – Richmond-based artist Joshua Barber reveals “city,” his first new collection in three years, on December 6, 2013, at the Glave Kocen Gallery from 6-9 p.m.
The six-piece series consists of kaleidoscopic visions of the old city of Jerusalem, which Barber visited in 2012. Inspired by the rich and fractured history of this ancient city, the collection advances the idea that Jerusalem belongs to everyone who visits it. A video installation created by Barber will also be on display during the opening night.
The exhibit will be on display from December 6 – 31. If you’d like to learn more about “city” and view the full collection, please visit http://www.JoshuaBarberFineArt.com/city
