The World of Art Showcase (WOAS), an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market, has announced that it will hold an Exhibitors and Collectors Reception on Saturday, Nov. 2, following the showcase, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Artspace, located at 201 E. Davie Street. The special event will feature a meet and greet with artists, closed gallery tours, live music, hors d’oeuvres and wine for VIP ticket holders.
Artspace, located in downtown Raleigh, is a nonprofit visual arts center dedicated to supporting and inspiring individual creativity by making the visual arts process accessible. Since 1986, Artspace has created a dynamic studio environment for established and emerging artists and presented nationally acclaimed exhibitions from artists working in a variety of media. In addition, Artspace continues to provide community members with the opportunity to interact with artists and participate in hands-on educational initiatives.
WOAS 2013 brings talented artists of all disciplines and from all over the world together and gives artists and their audiences a chance to engage in a forum promoting open dialogue about the arts, as well as presents opportunities for artistic and cultural learning and growth. This unique event, sponsored by Jerry’s Artarama, is designed for artists to sell their artwork, connect with their audience, network with collectors and other talented artists and bring national and international exposure to their careers.
