World of Art Showcase Announces The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation

The World of Art Showcase (WOAS) (http://www.worldofartshowcase.com), an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market, has announced that The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation (http://www.scott-free.org) will be the beneficiary for the masquerade-themed VIP opening reception on Thursday, October 31. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center in Exhibit Hall A, located at 500 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, N.C. Scott-Free is a local organization that works to help at risk children by pairing them with summer camp programs offering sports, technology, theatre, music, arts and education. Through generous acts from camps and the support of a caring community, deserving children are given an opportunity each summer to explore new talents and abilities, enhance existing skill sets, and build a solid foundation for future growth. Since 2008, Scott-Free has been the invisible link providing resources and opportunities vital to the positive development of North Carolina’s under supported youth.

Sponsored by Jerry’s Artarama (http://www.jerrysartarama.com), The World of Art Showcase VIP Masquerade Ball will open WOAS RALEIGH 2013, and will include fine food, live music, performance art, fine wine, craft beer and signature cocktails. In the hopes of providing an exceptional experience and to maximize proceeds for The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation, organizers are selling tickets for the event to the public. Advance tickets are available at a discounted price of $50, or two for $90, and may be purchased by visiting http://worldofartshowcase.ticketleap.com/masquerade-vip-opening-reception-woas2013/.

About World of Art Showcase:
The World of Art Showcase (WOAS), sponsored by Jerry’s Artarama (http://www.jerrysartarama.com), is an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market. The inception of WOAS arose from a desire to redefine the role art plays in our society – to get back to the grassroots of what art stands for and to revolutionize the way the art market functions. Aligning its vision with that of the Raleigh Arts Commission in transforming the “City of Oaks” into the “Creative Capital of the South” WOAS will host its inaugural event at the Raleigh Convention Center the first weekend in November. Audience members will have the opportunity to attend receptions, artist lectures, panel discussions, live art demonstrations and more.
