NOMA’s 2010 Summer Art Experience is a series of week-long, half-day programs for students aged 6 to 10. Each daily program consists of a visit to the Museum’s galleries to look at some of the masterpieces on display, followed by a fun and creative hands-on art activity. Taught by NOMA education staff along with professional art teachers and artists, each class offers an in-depth exploration of a variety of art media and approaches using both traditional and non-traditional methods. Workshops are based on different aspects of NOMA’s permanent collection and special exhibitions.
Programs are one week long (Monday to Friday) and last 2-1/2 hours (9:30 AM to 12 noon OR 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM). Class sizes are limited to 24 students each.
