A new and exciting online socio-economic business will be available in Portuguese, Spanish and English this week and its founder will be in Sao Paulo with a British film team at Embu das Artes on the 14th of June and in Mexico City from the 18th of July.
Dreamaid.com allows Artists to sell their products online and to network with sellers and buyers globally. “I believe that many artists can achieve better prices internationally than they can locally”, said founder Peter McAteer.
It is free to upload images of products onto the website and Dreamaid only charges 10% of the sales price if the product is sold.
Dreamaid.com represents a breakthrough in business thinking by building relationships between large corporate sponsors, the Dreamaid Charity, Artisans and the international market through Dreamaid.com. “By linking charitable support to an international market opportunity I hope that we can create new wealth for these amazing people” Peter added.
Sellers can donate a percentage of the purchase price to the Dreamaid Charity which is used to support poorer Artists by employing local people, providing marketing assistance, Internet access, computers and cameras. The objective is to help them to sell their products into better markets and at higher prices than they usually achieve.
It is the first time that a symbiotic relationship has been created between the marketing pull of Dreamaid.com and the charitable push of the Dreamaid Charity to relieve poverty whilst providing fair trade products to the international market.
Sponsors are sought to provide funding to the Dreamaid Charity in locations where they would benefit from improved public relations. Initial discussions with the major oil and gas companies have revealed considerable interest in supporting projects internationally.
“I am amazed at the beautiful unique products made with love not sweat”, said co-founder Mark Sivewright.
Murray Cormack, another co-founder said “I am a dedicated fan who has already bought a number of great presents for friends at Dreamaid.com”.
“We will be a major global player in what I plan to be my legacy”, said Peter McAteer. “Make more money at Dreamaid.com and help us to help you to help others”.
