Fine Art Moving and Storage Company Provides Climate-Controlled Security

Mind’s Eye Fine Art Moving and Storage is proud to announce that they now offer custom-built art vaults. Employing the latest security and climate control technologies, Mind’s Eye custom art vaults offer clients secure and reliable storage for fine art, antiques and other valuables. Private and public art vaults are available for both short and long-term storage, with a price range accommodating almost any budget. For more information, please call 800-428-9800 or visit www.ImagineMindsEye.com.

Located at their storage facility in the Greater Boston Area, the custom art vaults combine the precise climate controls of a world-class museum with the impervious security of a bank vault. Dedicated personnel attend to the vaults 24 hours a day while state-of-the-art climate controls, fire suppression systems and security measures ensure the safe storage of priceless art and antiques. As an added feature Mind’s Eye offers custom-decorated viewing areas for private vaults, catering to the tastes of the most discerning client.

In addition to impregnable on-site security, Mind’s Eye also specializes in the transportation of fine art objects. Trained fine art shipping experts consult with each client on a piece-by-piece basis to determine packaging and transportation protocols. The company is equipped to transport any piece, from fragile documents to massive marble sculptures. The newest addition to the company’s transportation line, Mind’s Eye has outfitted a specialized climate controlled van for the transportation of especially delicate pieces.

Mind’s Eye received critical acclaim in 2006 for the cross-country transportation of three Gustav Klimt paintings. The paintings – one of which was the iconic portrait of “Adele Bloch-Bauer”, valued at $135 million – were successfully transported from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to the Neue Gallery in Manhattan. Specifications for the project included two tractor trailer units, six drivers on rotating shifts, live GPS tracking, custom-made climate controlled crates and four accompanying vans transporting a total of eight armed security guards. The 59-hour journey from California to New York was completed “without a hitch”.

“We pride ourselves on an unrelenting attention to detail,” comments Mind’s Eye CEO D’Arcy Goldman. “We can accommodate any storage or shipping request, from a single piece to an entire collection.”
