440 Gallery’s 2022 Summer Theme Exhibition, Sequential Synergy: The Art of Comics, explores the forms that comics can take and how they affect us. Cartoonists are not merely visual artists but also writers, designers, directors, and most of all, acute observers of human behavior. Jurors Dean Haspiel and Whitney Matheson have curated the show as a means of broadening the thematic content and visual art forms traditionally exhibited in a gallery environment. 440 Gallery’s annual Summer Theme Show is popular with art followers and collectors alike as a showcase for bringing new talent and voices to our space.
