Wednesday, February 22nd JRAC is stretching out just a bit as the Bonzo Squad will be performing Stevie Wonder’s 1973 release INNERVISIONS. The night will also feature a showcase and live painting from TWO visual artistS: Chris Walker and Raymond Anthony Thomas.
“Arguably Stevie’s finest album, this truly stunning collection of virtual ‘one-man-band’ recordings at first impresses with its technical virtuosity and imagination, then its lyrical content, and finally its classic timelessness. His run from 1971 to 1977 can of course only be compared with Lennon-McCartney in modern times and I can think of no better place for the new listener to begin sampling his work than here.”
