Please join the Providence Art Club for three unique exhibition openings on Sunday, April 24th from 2-4 p.m.
In the Dodge House Gallery, Richard Harrington and Betsy Zimmerman will collaborate on a show entitled, “Monotype Connections” Both artists are prolific printmakers and their work is bound to inspire you with its passion and precision.
On view in the Maxwell Mays Gallery will be “Point of View” a three-artist show featuring the works of Craig Masten, Gail Armstrong, and Susan Shaw. As the title suggests, an artist’s point of view can make all the difference. Each artist brings the landscape to life in his or her own unique and powerful way.
The Mary Castelnovo Gallery will be displaying the work of David Demelim, entitled, “Cuba Revisited”. David Demelim, a photographer and printmaker, narrates a story of Cuba through his incredible architectural prints created through multiple exposures and the blending of colors and images from multiple shots.
The galleries of the Providence Art Club are always free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work.
