Everyday Objects at Harley Gallery

The exhibition on show at The Harley Gallery, Welbeck this summer, might surprise you. Bits and bobs, odds and ends, household junk and pound shop finds will fill the Gallery from 11 June to 10 August, all transformed into new artworks by designer Jason Taylor.

Jason Taylor is an established designer who has worked on many diverse projects and commissions. He has exhibited and sold his range of lighting and furniture around the world, in art galleries and museums, as well as high street shops and design outlets, such as The Conran Shop.

He works with everyday items and transforms them in to new designs. In late 2011, Jason set himself the challenge of making a new piece of work every day of the year, throughout 2012.

Using mundane, household objects he created a vast array of witty, surprising and ingenious new designs, the Everyday Objects.

The Everyday Objects exhibition will be accompanied by a new installation, made especially for The Harley Gallery. Jason Taylor’s quirky product designs will also be available to buy from The Harley Shop.

Visit The Harley Gallery, Welbeck from 11 June – 10 August 2014 to discover how creativity, humour and experimentation can transform Everyday Objects.

The Harley Gallery is on the A60 between Mansfield and Worksop, 10 minutes from the A1 and M1. Free entry and free parking. Visit www.harleygallery.co.uk for further information.
