The highly rated fair showcases the distinctive works of over 120 artists and galleries from all over the UK and Europe making it one of the biggest art events in The Thames Valley. The eclectic mix of art, photography, print making and sculpture takes place at the Royal Windsor Racecourse and offers visitors work by internationally renowned names as well as accomplished emerging artists.

The format of Windsor Contemporary Art Fair is very “user-friendly”, visitors can stroll through the stands and see everything from traditional landscapes to vibrant abstracts with price tags from £40 to £4,000, putting collectable contemporary art well within reach.

The flagship Prince’s Trust initiative has raised in excess of £45,000 to date selling small original works for a flat fee donated by artists involved in the fair. Displayed on a dedicated stand they provide a snapshot of the whole fair and have become collectors’ pieces in their own right.

Free workshops and other arts activities for children and adults are held throughout the weekend run by the acclaimed artists of Jelly. See the website for more information and updates.

Renowned artist Este MacLeod will be giving visitors the opportunity to make their mark and take part in an interactive art project whilst at the fair.

The fair will also host The Wine Affair, a wine fair with over 20 exhibitors comprising independent growers and merchants. Giving wine lovers the chance to discover new wines talk about them with the experts and try them before buying.

Organiser Sarah McAllister says “The fair is a fabulous way to see a sample of what’s going on all over the country in art, photography and sculpture and we are delighted that this year the visitors will also be able to enjoy the sampling in the wine fair! Furthermore art and wine lovers have the opportunity to enjoy both events with a single ticket”.

The Fair will be held on 9th & 10th November 2013 at Royal Windsor Racecourse.
