Artfest Announces Annual Meeting of the Shareholders and Creating Wealth Through Art Seminar

DALLAS, TX – Artfest International, Inc., (OTCBB: ARTI) is pleased to announce its new Artfest International Trade Show, featuring Art Channel Galleries’ “Creating Wealth Through Art” seminar ( This event is open to the public and will be held at Artfest’s corporate headquarters located at the Madison Building at 15851 Dallas Parkway in Addison, Texas.

The weekend will kick off on Friday, March 28th at 2:00pm CST with the Annual Meeting of the Shareholders followed by a tour of the Company’s facilities. This meeting of the shareholders is a closed meeting and will be open to those Artfest shareholders of record as of February 20, 2008.

The “Creating Wealth Through Art” seminar is open to the public and will feature Art Channel Galleries and Artfest Charities, which include such charities as International Gift of Hope, Clothe A Child, Community Council of Greater Dallas, and Resource Center of Dallas, to name a few. The event will also include personal appearances of some of Art Channel Galleries’ featured celebrity artists.

“This first trade show will be the launching pad for Artfest’s year long trade show presented each 3rd weekend of the month in Addison, TX,” comments Shirley Casavant, Artfest’s VP of Member Relations.
