Davidson Galleries 9th Seattle Print Fair

Valentines weekend marks the 9th anniversary of the Seattle Print Fair. This special annual event brings together some of the best original print dealers in the U.S. and Canada. The Fair is open to the public Saturday & Sunday, February 13th & 14th, and without admission charge. This year the special Friday evening preview is being sponsored by the Lenny Wilkens Foundation to benefit the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic.

This event is a rare opportunity to see thousands of fine original woodcuts, lithographs, and etchings dating from 1480 to 2009 and to learn about the artists and subjects from knowledgeable representatives. All works are available for purchase. Please join us.

The fair is being held at Davidson Galleries, 313 Occidental Ave S., Seattle, WA 98104.

Davidson Galleries is located at 313 Occidental Avenue South, in the heart of Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square gallery district. New exhibitions are mounted every month and timed to open the evening of the First Thursday Gallery Walk. Davidson Galleries is a member of the Seattle Art Dealer’s Association (SADA) and a charter member of The International Fine Print Dealers Association, a professional organization dedicated to maintaining high ethical standards for fine print dealers

The Contemporary Painting & Sculpture Department (formerly Davidson Contemporary) represents leading and emerging Northwest artists as well as artists with national and international reputations. The works exhibited range from figurative and narrative to abstract and surreal.

Davidson Galleries is widely regarded as one of the premiere venues for original prints in the Pacific Northwest. Two departments are devoted to original prints: The Contemporary Print & Drawing Center, which offers full portfolios by forty print artists and representative works by more than sixty additional artists, and the Antique Print Department which maintains an extensive and diverse collection of original engravings, woodcuts, etchings, and lithographs dating from the 15th to 21st centuries.
