440 Gallery Young Artists Painted Origami Workshop

Painted Origami Inspired by the work of Joy Makon and Richard Barnet.

Learn how to fold a variety of origami forms that can be decorated with the richness of watercolors. Two artist come together this month for their show, Latitudes. Joy Makon is showing her beautiful watercolors. The other artist, Richard Barnet, is showing his very interesting bronze sculptures. We invite you to use their work as inspiration for the origami forms you will learn how to create!

440 Gallery is located at 440 Sixth Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, between 9th and 10th Streets, and is convenient to the F, G, and R subways. The gallery is open on Thursday and Friday, 4pm – 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 7pm, or by appointment.
