440 Gallery presents Holiday Affordable Art Sale on November 29 – December 2, 2012.
Don’t buy that reindeer-print sweater, avoid those ironic doo-dads. Be noticed and remembered for your thoughtful, yet original and appropriate gift. Give art this year, art created by local artists and that fits perfectly in your budget.
The 440 Gallery is once again happy to announce its big Holiday Art Sale, Thursday through Sunday, November 29 – December 2. Given how popular this sale was last year, it has been established as an annual event. Thirteen artist members will offer a huge selection of styles and mediums: paintings, drawing, photographs and mixed media. The gallery will be stocked full, floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall with affordable, original works of art, as well as reproductions. Prices will be as low as can be, ranging from $4.40 to $440.
The Holiday Art Sale will be on Thursday and Friday, November 29 and 30, from 4:00-7:00 pm, and on the weekend, December 1 and 2, from 11:00 am-7:00 pm. It is strictly first come, first serve, “cash and carry,” so go early to get the best selection. Unlike the gallery’s regular exhibitions, during this weekend all sold artwork can be taken at time of purchase.
