From 1st of January 2010 Villa Tugendhat was closed to the public due to monument renewal on the building. The Villa is undergoing thorough restoration work with the aim of preserving and conserving the original building substance and layout. This will include construction details, the materials and the technical systems. The process of renewal will include not only repairs to the building, but also all of the interiors and the gardens.

This demanding project is without a doubt the most significant intervention in the construction history of the building. – www.tugendhat.eu
