Ovation Arts TV Social Network Launched

Published 5 June 2008

Today, Ovation TV (http://ovationtv.com/community/), the only television network devoted exclusively to the arts, has launched a social network to bring artists and art lovers to prime-time.

This multi-platform network breaks the mold by providing users with up-close and personal access to some of today’s most celebrated artists and art curators – such as renowned kitsch imagery artist Jeff Koons, featured artist this month. Koons’ work is currently on exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Additionally, viewers can experience the entire Ovation TV brand, viewing in-depth content ranging from classic art, music and film through its exclusive broadband channels.

The new Ovation TV community is designed to help artists from all walks of life explore their ideas about art and culture by curating their own space to show the world what makes their lives creative.

Users can join the new network by going to http://ovationtv.com/joinnow/

In the spirit of Ovation TV network, the new community will showcase the world’s greatest artists in popular arts, theater, dance, opera, literature, film, visual and fine art, design, photography and architecture, along side members of the social network. Bringing online to prime-time, community members can submit their best works for consideration to be featured on Ovation TV cable network.
