PawCasso auction to raise money for art and animals

Published 31 January 2008

The Columbia Art League is teaming up with the Central Missouri Humane Society for a silent live auction to benefit Columbia art and animals.

“PawCasso: An Evening for Art and Animals” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Windsor Ballroom in the Holiday Inn Executive Center. Cost is $50 at the door. Bidding for the auction will begin at 7 p.m. and hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.

“We have had a wonderful response from the community,” Humane Society executive director Patty Forister said. “There is something for everyone at the auction.”
