The Columbia Art League is teaming up with the Central Missouri Humane Society for a silent live auction to benefit Columbia art and animals. “PawCasso: An Evening for Art and Animals” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Windsor Ballroom in the Holiday Inn Executive Center. In 1933, Mildred C. Green’s painting “The Junk Man” won top honors at the Buffalo Society of Artists’ annual exhibition.
